Mr. Ware joined Rice Management Company in 2026. He previously served as a Director on the Private Equity team at UTIMCO, where he co-managed the Directs and Co-Investment portfolio and oversaw several private equity primary fund relationships.
Before his time at UTIMCO, Mr. Ware was the Director of Finance for Oryx Midstream, a Stonepeak portfolio company and Permian-based crude logistics platform. Prior to Oryx, Mr. Ware was a Senior Associate at First Reserve, where he focused on industrial services, upstream, and midstream energy investments. He began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Global Industrials Group at Jefferies in New York.
Mr. Ware holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia, where he was an Echols Scholar and is an Eagle Scout.
