Craig Beach joined Rice Management Company in 2020 and is a Managing Director of Private Investments. In this role, Mr. Beach oversees approximately $1 billion of the Rice University endowment. Previously, he spent one year at Inova Health Systems managing their private capital allocation, encompassing venture capital, buyouts, and real assets. Prior to Inova, Mr. Beach was a Partner at Cambridge Associates where he worked for 18 years managing private capital programs for domestic and international nonprofit and high net worth clients. Since 2017, he has served on the board of directors for Continental Land and Fur, a private energy company based in Houston. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bucknell University, an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School, and is a CFA® charterholder.
