Cindy Melton joined Rice Management Company in 2012, and is the Chief Operating Officer. Ms. Melton is responsible for overseeing the investment operations of the RMC, which includes investment performance analytics, due diligence, legal oversight, compliance, in addition to serving as the head of talent management. In her university role as Associate Vice President for Investments and Associate Treasurer, she oversees the annual audit of endowment investments, planned giving asset investments, and the endowment’s treasury functions. Previously, Ms. Melton worked ten years at JPMorgan Chase, as a Vice President in the Structured Finance division. She holds an M.B.A. in finance and a Bachelor's degree in business, both from the University of St. Thomas.
