Bianca Lopez joined Rice Management Company in 2019 and is Endowment Counsel and a Minerals Manager. In this role, she provides support to RMC’s General Counsel and Deputy Chief Investment Officer. She is responsible for reviewing endowment-related legal documents, primarily for the directly held real estate assets, and she also helps manage the university’s directly held oil and gas assets. Prior to joining Rice, she worked as a Landman for an exploration and production company in Houston, Texas. Ms. Lopez received her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Houston. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association, and the American Association of Professional Landmen.
