Rice Trust Inc.
Rice Trust Inc. (RTI) is a wholly owned not-for-profit subsidiary of Rice University. RTI was chartered in 1971 as a Texas Trust Company. RTI’s primary role is to serve as trustee for charitable remainder trusts in which Rice has the sole or primary remainder interest. As of June 30, 2023, RTI was trustee for 53 trusts with assets totaling more than $159 million.
