Justin Burke joined Rice Management Company in 2016 and is a Minerals Manager. In his role at Rice, he provides support to the Investment Director for Natural Resources by managing the University’s direct oil and gas holdings. He is responsible for negotiating oil and gas contracts and handling daily transactions relative to these holdings. Mr. Burke has been in the oil and gas industry since 2007 having worked in both land research and mineral acquisitions. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Burke is also a member of the National Association of Royalty Owners and the American Association of Professional Landmen.
