Faridah Usman joined Rice Management Company in 2023 and is an Investment Manager of Private Investments. In this role, she screens, analyzes, underwrites, and monitors buyout and venture capital funds and co-investments. Previously, she was a Director at Kuramo Capital Management where she helped build and oversee a portfolio of fund manager partnerships and co-investments in Sub-Saharan Africa on behalf of institutional investors. Faridah holds an undergraduate degree (with honors) in Politics and International Relations from the University of Warwick and a Master’s degree in International Politics and International Business from New York University (NYU). She is also a CFA® and CAIA® charter holder.
